About Honey home interiors

Jesalee Jones didn’t just enter the construction industry; she was raised in it. Her education didn't start with a license or a textbook—it started on active job sites and in the passenger seat of pump trucks. As the daughter of the owner of Ball Septic, Jesalee grew up behind the scenes of the trades. While others were observing the industry from the outside, she was answering phones, navigating site logistics, and learning the fundamental reality of what it takes to build, maintain, and fix a home from the ground up.

That upbringing instilled more than just a work ethic; it provided an intuitive understanding of the "dirty" side of construction—the plumbing, the site prep, and the structural integrity that exists beneath the surface. This foundation of hard work and problem-solving became the blueprint for her career.

From the Foundation to the Finished Vision

Driven by a passion for how spaces function and feel, Jesalee transitioned into the professional design-build world. She spent years refining her skills at an established firm, gaining the hands-on experience necessary to bridge the gap between architectural concepts and real-world execution. In 2020, she took the leap to build a firm that reflected her own standards, earning her Residential Builder’s License and launching Honey Home Interiors.

Her mission was to create a company that combined the grit of a contractor with the eye of a high-end designer. She saw a gap in the market for a firm that could handle the heavy lifting of construction while maintaining a sophisticated, intentional aesthetic.

Leading with Intention

As a woman in a male-dominated industry, Jesalee has built Honey Home Interiors through sheer determination and a refusal to settle for "standard." She brings a level of logistical precision and communication to the job site that has become her firm’s trademark. Her background allows her to speak the language of the subcontractors fluently while ensuring the client’s vision is never compromised by "builder-grade" shortcuts.

Today, Jesalee leads a team that shares her commitment to honesty, quality craftsmanship, and technical mastery. Honey Home Interiors is the culmination of a lifetime spent in the trades—a firm built on the belief that a great home requires both a designer’s heart and a builder’s hands. For Jesalee, a remodel isn't just about the transformation; it’s about honoring the work, the home, and the family that lives within it.
